Quantum Control

The Quantum Control group develops robust, high-fidelity methods for steering quantum systems. Its work has contributed foundational techniques to the field — including advances in STIRAP and the introduction of composite pulses as a universal quantum-control tool.

Research focus

  • Composite pulses for robust, high-fidelity quantum gates
  • Stimulated Raman adiabatic passage (STIRAP) and adiabatic techniques
  • Coherent control of atoms and ions
  • Noise-resilient control and dynamical decoupling
